Ar-Rahmah Trust runs a Self-Reliance training scheme which caters for vulnerable women within the local community. We aim to promote independence and self-sufficiency so that women can change their lives and the fortunes of their communities, expanding women’s opportunities in life by providing them with the necessary tools and resources to excel and provide income for their families. By placing our attention and energies on putting orphan girls and vulnerable women at the heart of everything we do, we can stop poverty before it starts.
At the Ar-Rahmah complex in Faisalabad, we have set up a one year sewing training program which is catered towards unemployed women so that they can learn a lifetime skill to earn a future living for their families.
By focusing on sustainable livelihoods Ar Rahmah Trust will empower the poor and vulnerable to become self-sufficient and less reliant on humanitarian aid. Our aim is to restore hope and to provide dignity by bringing about real tangible benefits for individuals, their families and the wider community.
We are also looking into setting up ICT classes for male and female from the local community which will give them the basic use of computers. Your donations will help run our Faisalabad training complex, allowing us to continue providing poor and needy women with the opportunity to learn a skill which can help them to earn an income.
